Victorian Solar Rebates — What May Be Available in 2026
Eligible Victorian households may receive up to $1,400 for an eligible solar PV system through the Solar Victoria Solar Homes Program, subject to current Solar Victoria eligibility requirements.
From 1 July 2026, the combined household taxable income eligibility cap for the Solar Victoria solar PV and hot water rebates is $150,000 per year. Other eligibility criteria apply, including property type and previous-rebate requirements.
Eligible customers may also receive Small-scale Technology Certificate (STC) benefits where applicable, which can further reduce the upfront cost of a solar installation.
Note: Solar Victoria is no longer taking applications for the previous solar battery interest-free loan. We recommend confirming current program availability directly with Solar Victoria before proceeding.
